For Internet Trading ONLY

1. Click on the UVEST logo, then click on "Open Account."
   
   
2. Print off application under the "download a New UVEST Account Kit" and other paperwork as required. (The other paperwork can be located by scrolling down the page.) Complete all required paperwork and mail, with check if necessary, to the address provided by UVEST. (We recommend that you keep a copy of your application and paperwork.)
   
   
3. Please Note: You can settle your transactions by ACH or by using a money market fund within your brokerage account. The account must be a Citizens & Northern Bank account in order to use ACH. If you elect this option, the Bank's routing number is 031308302. UVEST defaults its money market fund selection to the Alliance Capital Reserve fund.
   
   
4. If you do not utilize the ACH settlement, then you need to enclose a check to fund your account. Make the check payable to UVEST. This should be enclosed with your paperwork when you mail your application if you want your account funded immediately. (Otherwise, see 9 below.)
   
   
5. UVEST will email a welcome letter to you with a login ID and password. (A sample of this letter is also available under the link tab.)
   
   
6. Go back to the C&N Financial Services Corp.'s website and click on the UVEST logo. Click on the Login button. Enter your information received from 5 above.
   
   
7. The UVEST site allows for trading and research of stocks and mutual funds. If you wish to research or trade bonds, treasuries and other fixed-income items, then you need to call the UVEST trading desk at 800-277-7700.
   
   
8. Trading costs for stocks are $19 for trades up to 1,000 shares (Exceptions may apply). For trades over 1,000 shares, the cost is $.03 per share. These costs are only associated with trades done via the Internet.
   
   
9. When you place a trade, the transaction will settle through the money market fund within your account or by ACH (see 3 and 4 above). If you are using a money market fund and you do not have enough money to cover the cost of the transaction, then you will need to mail a check, payable to UVEST, to deposit to your brokerage account. Reference your brokerage account on your check and mail it directly to UVEST.
